USING GOD’S FORCE
  MATTHEW
11:11-12 “ 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are
born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the
Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of
heaven is greater than he.
12 And from the days
of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven
suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
“
MATTHEW 11:12 (GREEK LITERAL) "and
from the days of John the Baptist until [now] the kingdom of
the heavens is forcibly treated, and forceful [violent] men
seize it.”
There is a spiritual war going on in the universe that includes
this planet. There has been a cosmic struggle between good and
evil as God (Yahweh)
has been purging the universe of the evil that the rebellion of
his greatest angelic being who is now known as Satan. God has
redeemed that which can and wills to be redeemed, and is
bringing into judgment that part which will not.
From the time that we are born, there is a struggle that is
going on for our souls.
If you are still in sin and have not been born again, the sin in
your life makes you the enemy of God.
But the good news (the gospel) is that Jesus Christ, God’s only
begotten Son,
became a man and lived a perfect life fulfilling the Law and
commandments of God, and went to the cross and took your and my
sin upon Himself, and that sin killed Him as He paid the price
that we could become not only the children of God… but friends
to God.
 Once
you have been born again by the Holy Spirit, then you are now on
the winning side, and there is a responsibility there to stand
for Jesus Christ and to resist the devil.
We might have been the biggest loser that ever was, but through
Jesus Christ, we become soldiers in the Army of the Lord and we
have been called to take the Kingdom of Heaven by force in
Jesus’ name.
WE HAVE BEEN CALLED OUT TO RESIST EVIL AND SPREAD THE
KINGDOM WITH POWER.
From John's time until now..
TODAY, this kingdom is not taken quietly and gently. But the
devil is having his authority ripped out of his hands as the
kingdom of heaven is forcibly taken.
Many of us are facing things in the church today we never have
before, and the devil does not play fair. He does not care if
you are down over this or that… he will take advantage of you if
he can. And this thing where we have been afraid to make the
devil mad and careful what we say so he won’t get after us....
chances are you are already on the run with him on your heels if
you think that way. It’s time to get just as mad at him as he is
at us. It’s time we hate the devil and sin as much as we love
Jesus Christ!
We are exhorted in God’s word to,
Ephesians 6:10-11 “ 10 Finally, my brethren, be
strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the
whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the
wiles of the devil. “
WE’VE MISUNDERSTOOD our call & power!
It has many times tried to misuse the power or bury it to where
it’s tremendous flow becomes a trickle and a sound. BUT WE ARE
CALLED TO BRING
A POWERFUL JESUS
TO A HURTING WORLD.
SICKNESS, DEMONS, OPPRESSIONS must fall at the authority of the
name of Jesus Christ!
THE
WAR
OVER HUMAN SOULS
 John
10:10 “ The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill,
and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and
that they might have [it] more abundantly. “
The devil is a tyrant... he is a thief.
There is a process seen here:
STEAL, KILL, AND THEN DESTROY.
In the Greek the words steal, kill, and destroy means to
take away sneakily.
He uses wiles
or deception to steal your soul (along with people’s faith
and joy and love and the Word of God/truth).
He then proceeds to slay you as a sacrifice to an idol.
You are in the image of GOD, and to keep you in sin and away
from salvation is to make you a sacrifice on the pagan altar
of Satan. He hates God in us and that fact that God has
made us in His reflection.
If he can get you to physically die without Jesus, then you
have entered into the
Second Death…
This is to utterly perish in the Lake of Fire. Lust feels
good, but it robs you of the goodness and purity of God...
and the presence of God out of our lives.
Everything Satan offers you is to ba it
you so he can sneak in and steal God out of your life.
Satan’s kingdom is devised to rob you of your soul, but
JESUS came that you don’t have to be robbed but instead have
Everlasting LIFE.
THE CHURCH TAKING BACK WHAT SATAN HAS STOLEN
Men
FORCE
their way to
take the kingdom now,
or to take back what the forces of Satan has stolen.
This kingdom is being seized by force.
We are to walk with Jesus in our day to day live so we
can have the power to take the kingdom by force.
 One
does not sweet-talk a tyrant; you MUST overpower him and
unseat him.
Trying to talk him out of it is useless. You don't use
psychology or enticing words to unseat him. And
understand that God has given the dominion of the Earth
to Adam’s race, so God by Himself is not taking the
kingdom.
But violent men are men who have something real (from
the Lord) that causes them to become radical such as
Peter and John to the lame man.
God raises men and women and empowers them for war.
YOU CAN BE A SOLDIER ON THE RIGHT SIDE, OR THE WRONG
SIDE, OR YOU CAN BE A VICTIM. I DON’T WANT TO BE A
VICTIM.... I DON’T WANT TO STAND IN THE WRONG...
God’s got an army, not afraid to fight the good fight of
faith! It is an army that is strong in the Lord and not
their own strength. It is an army that doesn’t do their
own thing or fight as the world fights, but walks
according to the command of the Holy Spirit and uses
faith.
In the face of bringing the love of Jesus Christ to hurting
people,
you will have to bring the power of God to bear violently
against the demonic forces that are doing the hurting.
God’s army is a balanced army!
They equip with His weapons, and train and learn and follow Him
into victory.
God’s army is a powerful army!
And we have the most powerful leader and powerful weapons.
So,
men themselves take the kingdom into their own lives and then
turning around and violently pressing in and with might
preaching with might (POWER)
this gospel.
And in that powerful preaching, they are pulling down satanic
strongholds as the kingdom of heaven takes its place.
1 Thessalonians 1:5 “ For our gospel came not unto you in word
only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much
assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for
your sake. “
It is just natural for the power of God to be manifested with
the word of God.
They go together:
the anointing will make the word of God come alive in our
lives... miracles will by the nature of the gospel follow the
word.
The power without the word will become undirected and careless.
But the word should bring
forth the power of God as faith responds to the word.
1 Corinthians 2:4 “ And my speech and my preaching [was] not
with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the
Spirit and of power:
“
And Paul was a WORD preacher, too. But power goes with the
Word.
John 6:63 “ It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh
profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are
spirit, and [they] are life. “
We need to unlearn some things; such as coming to church not
expecting to see God manifest himself.
We have limited God in our own lives. We need to become
CHILDLIKE
in our faith, and simply believe God means what He says.
We talk about the anointing... we want an anointing, but the
anointing is the presence from the Spirit of God. It is the
presence of God.
IF WE GET FULL OF JESUS, THEN WE WILL BE ANOINTED!
 We
are to get full of Jesus Christ and His word, and the presence
of God will fill us, too. And with that presence will come the
fruit and the gifts of the Spirit.
John 14:12 “ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth
on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works]
than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. “
And what are these works?
Acts 10:38 “ How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy
Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all
that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. “
SOME POINTS ABOUT THE POWER OF GOD THAT GIVES US THE
ABILITY TO VIOLENTLY TAKE THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
1. We will not have the true power of God if that power
is directed toward the wrong direction.
The kingdom of heaven suffers violence. Too many of us
are pointing our weapons the wrong way. We are taking
the wrong things and have unbiblical goals.
But we are to take that which the thief has stolen.
2. You can’t be a successful soldier if you are shooting
indiscriminately . You’ll end up wounding your own
troops. We have to be directed and led by the Holy
Spirit and the word of God. Then we will walk in the
power.
GOD DOES NOT HONOR FLESH!!!!!
Romans 8:14 “ For as many as are led by the Spirit of
God, they are the sons of God. “
3. When you don’t know where to turn next....
THEN STAND!
Ephesians 6:12-13 “ 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and
blood, but against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high [places]. 13 Wherefore take unto you the
whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the
evil day, and having done all, to stand. “
4. When God moves, we move... when He stops and we don’t
know what to do .... make a stand and don’t give into the
devil.
Ephesians 4:27 “ Neither give place to the devil. “
This power does the world no good if it is not flowing out
of us. It isn't enough to simply talk about the power; we
must allow it to manifest to reach a lost and dying world.
Hebrews 2:3-4 “ 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so
great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by
the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard
[him]; 4 God also bearing [them] witness, both with signs
and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy
Ghost, according to his own will? “
When we walk in the Spirit, in His will, we will see the
gospel confirmed with signs, wonders, and different kinds of
miracles! Praise God, He is real!!!!!
