America's Return to the Demonic

This will be difficult for me on a couple of levels, and probably for most who will read or hear this preached. You see, I have quite a bit of Cherokee heritage in my blood line, but that does not change truth. And the truth is that Native Americans had an idolatrous religion that worshiped other gods and spirits besides the True and Living God. They broke the first commandment.

We talk about the land that we call the United States and Canada and Mexico... lets dwell on North America right now and if I may, mostly on the USA, since that is my own main experience and home. We talk about “America” and we talk about the USA being settled on the most part for religious freedom and a faith in God. This is absolutely true, but what was here before that revival movement?

I know that atrocities were done by white men, especially by the military of earlier days upon Native Americans, although we hear more of the atrocities of the Native Americans on the white settlers. Let’s say that neither side is exactly innocent.

But, the settlers came from Europe on the most part for religious freedom and a place to worship God and start anew, and this country was formed (read our Constitution and Declaration of Independence) upon the foundation of the Law of God and looking unto the God of the Bible for its establishment and continuation. Government leaders later would have blood on their hands in dealing with the Native Americans here.

But this land on which we live today has seen a varied history. And the land is more than the man-made government that we have established, but the land is the land and the interaction of the people… the men and women who have lived and had dominion here.

The land will either be blessed or cursed depending upon what man does upon it. That is a biblical principle that we see in scripture and in history.

Consider the following scriptural principle that Jesus gave to us that is applied to the people or society… people and the land, but is used elsewhere in talking about demons possessing and controlling human beings individually. But here, it has an interesting application.

Matthew 12:43-45 (KJV) “ 43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. “

When a person or place is delivered from their demonic possession, and are cleaned from their iniquities and uncleanness, but fails to fill themselves with the presence of God then a vacuum is created. In that vaccum, those demons that were made to go can come back, and when they do they will bring back seven times more… a number showing completion… to make the possession that comes afterward worse than what they had before.

America was delivered from idolatry and the worship of demonic spirits in the form of nature worship. Although Native Americans much like the Druids of Britain are being glorified in film these days, the truth is that though they had a healthy respect for nature… their respect went to the immoral level of worship, and their idolatry wound up worshiping demonic spirits that pretended to be things like the wolf or the bear or the coyote. They might have had an understanding of the Great Spirit, but they worshiped all the other ones as well, much like Samaria had done in Israel and cursed themselves.

Keep this in mind as we look at some biblical examples, and then return to America and what the Bible says about the Last Days.

Consider Nineveh who was sent the prophet Jonah by God. Although Jonah did not want to go, God had other plans and kept him in the belly of a sea creature for 3 days and nights and resurrected Jonah as he spat him up to preach to the city.

Jonah had been in the digestive acids of a sea creature for 3 days folks… his hair and skin would have been bleached and he would have been a mess. His very living state in that condition would have been enough to let them know that the true and living God had sent him.

Nineveh, the great pagan center of Assyrian culture that had persecuted the people of God actually repented before the Lord and judgment was put off.

Jonah 3:4-10 (KJV) “ 4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. 5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. 6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: 8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. 9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? 10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not. “

The destruction of Nineveh (which would become the capitol of Assyrian power before the rise of Babylonia) would be put off for 150 years. See, they returned to their evil ways and when you read the prophecies of Nahum, they had grown worse and the destruction came later.

God honors true repentance, but it is dangerous once repented, to turn back to the evil.

Luke 9:62 (KJV) And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

2 Peter 2:20-22 (KJV)20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Hebrews 10:38-39 (NASB95)38 BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM. 39 But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.

Hebrews 10:38-39 (KJV)38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

CONSIDER THE ABOMINATIONS OF PALESTINE THAT CAUSED THE LAND TO VOMIT THEPEOPLE UP SO THAT THE PEOPLE OF GOD COULD INHERIT THE LAND

Why did Palestine vomit up the Canaanites and the inhabitants so that the Children of Israel (God’s people) could inherit? What were the iniquities and abominations that cursed their own land?

Leviticus 18:24-25 (KJV) “ 24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: 25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. “

These are things that one generation ago would have been understood to have been grossly evil. The average person would cringe at the thought of blasphemy- knowing it is slapping God’s face, or homosexuality- knowing that it is a perversion and twisting of a human being into something evil, or idolatry- knowing that it honored demons. BUT NOT TODAY. WE ARE IN THE SAME PLACE AS BABYLON WHEN IT FELL, AND ROME WHEN IT FELL, AND SODOM AND GOMORRAH WHEN IT BURNED, AND PALESTINE WHEN IT FELL TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL.

This generation has fallen in America! This country that was brought back from idolatry into the worship of God has now fallen back into idolatry. NEW AGE under the Emergent Church movement and others has infiltrated the church. Oprah Winfrey’s guru that she has been promoting lately is teaching miracles although she is channeling an unclean spirit that claims to be Jesus that totally denies the teachings of Jesus Christ and the apostles and the Bible! But they are being taught in thousands of churches as bible studies though they are anti-biblical today!

2 Timothy 4:1-4 (KJV) “ 1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. “

They would rather believe a lie, but that lie with damn them to a real and literal Hell for eternity… that is a long, long time folks. They want to feel good about their sin even though it is rotting them body and soul. They are becoming houses for demons to fill and control, but they want a preacher or teacher to tell them that they are still alright in their sin and evil. THEY WANT TO BE DECEIVED!

Evil is now good, and good is now evil! It is okay for people to explore all kinds of sexuality from pornography to fornication to homosexuality as if it is okay not knowing that they are damning their immortal souls for a little temporary pleasure of the flesh. But its rotting them spiritually and filling them up with demons.

Isaiah 5:20-21 (KJV) “ 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! “

God says “WOE” or a curse upon you if you call that which is evil good! If you do that, then you will hate the holy and good and think that it is evil. You have taken on the attitudes of Satan and have his viewpoints now, and you will share in his fate.

We live in a generation where kids are being demon possessed younger and younger, and lust and wrath and violence are rising up as never before. There is HATRED AND VIOLENCE AND STRIFE rising up with these other evils and the prophetic prediction of JESUS CHRIST is coming to pass right before our eyes!!!

Luke 17:26-33 (KJV) “ 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. - [HOW MANY DID IT DESTROY? HOW MANY ESCAPE WHEN JUDGMENT DOES COME? ]

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. “

Now, let’s get back to the United States of America. It is the land of the free, right? It was at one time. This is not the America that I grew up in. It has been twisted with the boiling frog method. If you take a live frog and put him in a cool pan of water, he likes it. The frog has such a slow nervous system that you can turn the heat on that pan very slowly until it literally begins to boil, and the frog will not feel it although he is being boiled alive.

The internet and media has enhanced the corruption and sped it up, but so has the school systems and governments. The sad thing is that the CHURCH has been impotent in stopping it because much of the church in the USA has lost a real touch of God and a vacuum has resulted there.

We are spiritual beings, and if the Spirit of the Lord is not moving in church, then demonic spirits are going to try and get at us in other areas of our lives.

WHAT WE NEED IS A REPENTANCE OF THE CHURCH AND A TURNING BACK TO GOD SO THAT THE GLORY WILL RETURN AND THE LAND WILL BE HEALED.

There are two things going on just at the end. The Bible says that the hallmark of the Last Days are these:

Acts 2:17-18 (KJV)17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

1 Timothy 4:1-2 (KJV)1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

These are two diametrically opposite events. One is a falling away or apostasy that you see highlighted in Revelation 3 by Sardis and to a lesser degree by Laodicea. The other thing is an outpouring revival seen in Revelation 3 by Philadelphia… the faithful church that will be kept from the hour of temptation.

America can be seen in that Last Days War in Ezekiel 38 (which corresponds to the war in the four riders of the Apocalypse in Revelation 6-the first four Seals) at Tarshish (our largest U.S. Naval Base in Europe at Rota) and the young lions thereof that will challenge the Islamic flood of nations along with Russia that will invade Israel. The chaos that ensues pushes Russia and the Islamic armies back out of Israel, and devastations on the planet.

I believe what you see ending that particular challenge and the thing that will bring the peace keeping forces of the Antichrist into Israel is the total annihilation of the USA seen in Revelation 8. It describes a nuclear war occurring simultaneously with an object from space striking the ocean. It describes 1/3 of the Earth being burned down with fire. Russia, China, Africa, Europe, and the middle East will be there at the end of the Tribulation at Armageddon, so where is that 1/3 of the Earth totally burned down in the first half of the Tribulation? To whom much is given, much is required.

Add to that the prediction by Jesus of earthquakes all over the world will increase right at the end, and that the number of quakes has increased geometrically in the past 20 years. It has increased beyond any prediction over these years, and the ones the other day were totally unexpected. There is one that is expected howsoever at New Madrid, that when it goes off, it has the ability to level whole cities in the Midwest and East.

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’S RETURN TO THE DEMONIC HAS BROUGHT THESE PERILOUS TIMES. PERILOUS TIMES IS PREDICTED TO COME RIGHT AT THE END OF THIS AGE BEFORE JESUS COMES BACK… THIS IS THAT GENERATION THAT WILL SEE IT… AND IT GOES ON TO TELL WHAT IS GOING ON TO CAUSE THOSE PERILOUS TIMES.

See, it isn’t just perilous because of the evil, but the evil brings peril from the land. The land will vomit us out when our iniquities as a nation comes to a full.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV) “ 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. “

Yes, it is perilous spiritually. But the spiritual evil of the day brings literal physical peril as well. God has chastened His church, and many of them have ignored the chastening and scourging and flaunted their evil. That is what leads to apostasy.

In Romans 1, you read how someone who has known the Lord and been saved becomes a totally lost apostate. The key verse is here…

Romans 1:16-21 (KJV) “ 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. “

· They think that they are wiser and smarter than God and decide to ignore the Bible

· They are damned at that point and their names are blotted out of the book of Life

We have a generation of people in the western world that are somewhere on this list if they are not walking in the Spirit. These are perilous times, and the sad thing is that many are falling into the seduction of strong lying spirits of this age and they are being damned for it.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
