THE RESULTS OF THAT APOSTASY
Romans
1:26-32 (KJV) 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile
affections: for even their women did change the natural use into
that which is against nature:
27 And
likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working
that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that
recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And
even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are
not convenient;
29
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate,
deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters,
inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31
Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural
affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who
knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things
are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in
them that do them.
God gives them up
and in that release of protection, the
evils of the flesh corrupt them totally into vile affections. A
mind enlightened with the light of God knows that what they are
doing is vile, but they will feel justified and arrogant about
living this way. It is against human nature.
Romans
1:26 (AMP) For this reason God gave them over and abandoned
them to vile affections and degrading passions. For their women
exchanged their natural function for an unnatural and abnormal
one,
Romans 1:27 (AMP) And the men also turned from
natural relations with women and were set ablaze (burning out,
consumed) with lust for one another--men committing shameful
acts with men and suffering in their own bodies and
personalities the inevitable consequences and penalty of their
wrong-doing and going astray, which was [their] fitting
retribution.
Men will lose interest in sexual
relations with women, but burn with lust for other men.
And women becoming lesbians and losing
normal desires for men is the next step of
ungodliness and judgment.
They also receive
the full judgment and reaping from this kind of
behavior from disease to a sickened mind
to the reward of
judgment in the
Lake of Fire.
Romans
1:28 (AMP) And so, since they did not see fit to acknowledge
God or approve of Him or consider Him worth the knowing, God
gave them over to a base and condemned mind to do things not
proper or decent but loathsome,
They are turned over to a reprobate
mind so that they believe and do loathsome things, and not know
it. They are reprobate concerning the faith, and
their names have been blotted out of the Book of Life. They
have in a very real way, blasphemed the Holy Spirit. They will
never be able to understand godly things again, for they are
damned and their minds are based in damnable lies.
They are apostates to the faith, and reprobate concerning the
truth. They have fallen away and they cannot ever be
restored. As I said before, this is not backsliding, but
apostasy.
This leads to the totally UNGODLY
lifestyle and society that we see arising in
Post-Christian America today in 2010. Once there is
no more conscience and leading of God, then all ungodliness
starts to consume these people. Demons
have an all you can eat party eating on the carnal flesh of
these individuals. They become puppets on
demonic strings and do not realize it.
They are filled with all unrighteousness then. As believers
are to be filled with the Spirit, so these apostates are filled
with ALL unrighteousness.
Now a sinner might have a basic conscience, but he has not the
power of the Spirit to be righteous. He knows unrighteousness
as a lifestyle.
But seldom
do people normally get filled with all unrighteousness
unless their conscience has been seared and they have become
reprobate.
They become pure evil.
Look at the list of evils that they are filled with:
Romans
1:29-32 (AMP) 29 Until they were filled (permeated and
saturated) with every kind of unrighteousness, iniquity,
grasping and covetous greed, and malice. [They were] full of
envy and jealousy, murder, strife, deceit and treachery, ill
will and cruel ways. [They were] secret backbiters and
gossipers,
30
Slanderers, hateful to and hating God, full of insolence,
arrogance, [and] boasting; inventors of new forms of evil,
disobedient and undutiful to parents.
31
[They were] without understanding,
conscienceless and faithless,
heartless and loveless [and] merciless.
32 Though they are fully aware of God's
righteous decree that those who do such things deserve to die,
they not only do them themselves but approve and applaud others
who practice them.

Iniquity spiritual sin that
opens you to demons from
homosexuality to witchcraft to drugs
-
Grasping and
covetous greed a lusting for
power and money and the world
-
Envy and
jealousy love is replaced
-
Malice hateful wrath for
others
-
Strife fighting others and
attacking others and discord
-
Deceit lying and deception
-
Treachery break contracts and
vows and promises and cheat and betray trusts
-
Ill will to others and
cruel ways with no compassion
for others, but selfishness
-
Secret
backbiters and gossipers
troublemakers
-
Slanderers
the spirit of Satan
accusing falsely
-
Hateful
to others
-
Hating God and the
people of God
-
Insolent
and arrogant
proud and looking down on others
-
Boasting prideful and
self-serving
-
Inventers of new forms of evil
they will try to find new ways to sin
-
Disobedient and disrespectful to parents
-
They
have no spiritual or
rational
understanding
-
They
have no conscience and will not
care to hurt anyone or do anything in
selfishness
-
They are
faithless these who have
turned from the faith will not believe
in God now
-
Heartless and
loveless
and merciless this is
the ultimate selfish person who cares for no one
-
They
know of
God and His Law and their own sin, but
glory in their sin and
ignore judgment
-
They
will promote others who do evil
and pretend that judgment will
not come
-
They will believe their own lies
I will leave you with this. If a person has
become apostate, then this study cannot help them. It is
too late and they will scoff at your efforts to help them.
But this study is for us as a warning, and for us to share with
those who might be going in that direction. You dont
necessarily have to get out of church to fall into this danger.
There are those who pastor churches who have given into
iniquities and turned to a false gospel to justify themselves,
who have become apostates.
There are some who might be hearing or reading this that might
be going to a church that has become like Sardis in
Revelation 3. They might be promoting sins and iniquities
in your church, but you have not totally succumbed to the
deception and God is dealing with you.
I challenge you to repent and leave you with the exhortation to
those in Sardis whose names had not been blotted out of the
Lambs Book of Life yet.
Revelation 3:1-6 (KJV) 1 And unto the angel of the church in
Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits
of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a
name that thou livest, and art dead. 2 Be watchful, and
strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I
have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember
therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and
repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee
as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon
thee. 4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not
defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white:
for they are worthy. 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be
clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out
of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my
Father, and before his angels. 6 He that hath an ear, let him
hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
