Maybe You are an Eagle in the Making!

Isaiah 40:29-31 " 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint. "

HERE WE ARE COMPARED WITH THE EAGLES
...
MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES... MAYBE YOU ARE AN EAGLE IN THE MAKING IN THE EYES OF GOD.

Because of the eagle's majestic appearance and power of flight, it has been called the "king of birds." Since ancient times it has been a symbol of strength and courage.

Eagles are both beautiful and powerful!  They fly gracefully upon the winds, and they have great strength in their wings to swoop and take very fast prey. They truly are majestic.

They have very sharp eyesight and hunt while soaring high in the air or watching from a high perch. They only eat live food. A vulture eats the almost dead to the very dead, but an eagle will not eat it unless it's fresh food.

Too many are eating the leftovers of this world that the devil is giving them. Don't you settle for anything short of what God would feed you. Eat from the table of the Lord the good things of God.

Psalm 103:4-5 " 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good [things; so that] thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. "

John 6:35 " And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. "

It is believed that eagles mate for life. The same pair can be seen year after year together....
There is an inherent faithfulness in them that God has instilled there. Eagles are faithful to each other. God is trying to make His people a faithful people.... faithful to their commitments to Him.

TO BE LIKE THE EAGLE IS TO BE FAITHFUL... 2 Timothy 4:7-8 " 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. "

MADE FOR THE AIR... MADE TO HUNT AND EAT AND LIVE AND THRIVE IN THE AIR !

Ephesians 2:5-6 " 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus: "

Plus, you were not made to try and thrive below the clouds, but to soar like the eagle on the wind of the Holy Ghost! GOD HAS MADE YOU TO BE AN OVERCOMER !

1 John 4:4 " Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. "

EAGLES DON'T PUT THEIR NEST JUST IN LOW TREES, OR ANYWHERE CLOSE TO THE GROUND... BUT THEY LIVE UPON HIGH PLACES... USUALLY ON A ROCK.

Job 39:27-28 " 27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her nest on high? 28 She dwelleth and abideth on the rock, upon the crag of the rock, and the strong place. "

The eagle's nest is high in a tree or on a rocky ledge where it cannot be reached by other animals. This precaution is necessary because young eagles remain helpless for a long period. The nest, which is often used by the same pair of birds year after year, is made of sticks and lined with grass and leaves, with fur from the kills. Each year the birds add new material to the nest.

Heavenly places.... above the snake line. Above where the potential enemies can hurt the babies.

Luke 6:47-48 " 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. "

And the nest would be placed just off of the edge both for protection's sake, and there is another reason that eagles build their nests there.... for their babies when it's time to fly.

The babies, which are covered with down, remain in the nest from 50 to 100 days, depending on the species. They do not develop adult coloration until they are more than 2 years old. Until that it's time to fly, the babies are fed by mom and dad, and enjoy a soft, warm nest that is comfortable.

One day, momma eagle comes and takes some of the fur, and the grass out of the nest... suddenly junior is feeling more sticks than he used to. Things are not as comfortable as they used to be.

Sometimes when things turn upside down, GOD IS TRYING TO GET YOU OUT OF THE COMFORT ZONE.

Romans 5:2-4 " 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: "

Junior eagle decides, I think I'll get outside the nest... not much room to stand, but this is uncomfortable.... and just as he is looking around and mostly down for he's so high up, mother eagle will push baby out over the cliff... THIS IS HOW EAGLES LEARN TO FLY !

Baby will usually panic as he plummets down to what looks like a certain death. But what junior is not aware of is that mom with her powerful wings is following junior down, and just before he hits the ground she swoops and grabs junior.

Matthew 28:20 " Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen. "

At what seems to junior the last instant, momma is suddenly under him and he grabs on for dear life. She swoops under him and carries him on her back into the heights.

1 Corinthians 10:13 " There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it]. " - God is there all of the time just waiting to rescue you.

WHEN MOMMA BRINGS JUNIOR HOME, HE RUNS TO THE NEST... AND MOM PROMPTLY TAKES OUT A LITTLE MORE OF THE LINING.... AND THE WHOLE THING HAPPENS AGAIN.

Somebody would say that, "that's cruel". NOT REALLY! You see, that little bird is growing up and needs to learn how to fly for himself. It's not fair to try to keep him a baby all of his life, but he has been made to soar the clouds himself.

As you grow in Jesus and grace, the trials do become harder, but hold on... God is working His plan and making you able to soar the heavenlies with Him.

There is really no danger as long as the Lord is there! Remember Peter when Jesus walked upon the water and He had that leap of faith !

Matthew 14:28-31 " 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth [his] hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? "

Even in your worst trial, the Lord is there ready to pull you out when you start to sink... Hang on, He is teaching you faith.... and when you come out you will not only trust Him more, but you might begin to stretch your wings.

After this process repeats a number of times, suddenly the baby eagle realizes that, Hey, I've got wings too... and one time, junior puts his wings out and suddenly he takes flight... AND HE FLIES FROM THAT DAY ON !!!!!

James 1:2-4 " 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; {temptation: or, trials} 3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. "

Don't panic, when you are seemingly plummeting down, the Holy Spirit is right there with you. He is your comforter... PARACLETE... ONE WHO STAYS CLOSER THAN A BROTHER.

John 14:16 " And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; "

Hold on, if you feel like it's all falling apart and you've walked with God, then you are just in the process of learning how to fly !!!!! God is teaching some of you how to fly and you are about to burst forth out of your trial in the pure power of God!
